Cody Must See Sights

On Your Own Suggestions

  • Enjoy a historic evening out at the Irma Hotel. The original part of the hotel was built for Buffalo Bill in 1902, and he named it for his daughter, Irma. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Irma’s famous cherry wood bar dates back to the turn of the century and was a gift from the Queen of England out of her appreciation for Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show.
  • Since Cody is known as the Rodeo Capital of the World, put on your cowboy hat and boots and attend the Cody Nite Rodeo. The rodeo runs nightly from June 1-August 31st. Performances are general admission and gates open at 7 pm.
