- Sample some famous Digby scallops. Among the best places to try them: the Fundy Restaurant or the Dockside Restaurant & Bar. In August, a festival is held in Digby to salute the scallops.
- Try smoked herring, known locally as a Digby Chick. The name came about when impoverished settlers could not afford chicken for Christmas dinner and had smoked herring instead.
