Take a half-day or full-day boat cruise to see one of the most photographed geological wonders in the American West—Rainbow Bridge. You will enjoy wonderful rock formations, marvel at beautiful painted walls, and travel through Forbidding Canyon.
Hike to Horseshoe Bend. It is amazing and it is free. Just south of mile marker 545, park and enjoy the 3/4 mile hike/walk on the trail to one of mother nature’s beautiful pieces of work: the horseshoe-shaped cut of the Colorado River.
Stop at the Carl Hayden Visitor Center for free movies and free tours of Glen Canyon Dam. Tours are 45 minutes and go to the Colorado River level and into the power plant, where there are eight large generators.
