- As the mountain biking capital of America, bike rental companies in Moab are numerous on Main Street. Check out Slickrock, which is perhaps the most popular mountain bike trail in the world, boasting over 100,000 visitors per year.
- Enjoy breakfast at the Jail House Café on Main Street. Once home to the town’s prisoners, it is now a quaint restaurant serving up some of the area’s best food and coffee.
- Go off road and explore Moab’s backcountry. There are many outfitters that rent Jeeps and ATVs, so you can explore on your own or join a guided tour.
- Even if this is your first visit to Utah, chances are you’ve been to Moab before—at least, in the movies! Travel scenic Highway 128 to Red Cliffs Lodge and see their movie museum filled with memorabilia from early films to the present. From Rio Grande and The Commancheros to City Slickers and Thelma & Louise, Moab’s natural beauty has been the backdrop for dozens of movies, TV series, commercials, and magazine ads. Museum admission is free.
