- Discover Gateway Salt Lake, the city’s only open-air destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment that includes the Clark Planetarium and IMAX Theatre.
- Visit Red Butte Garden & Arboretum, a 150-acre garden featuring waterfalls, trails, and ponds. Take a guided tour or explore on your own. During summer, live concerts are often held.
- Spend time at Antelope Island State Park, the largest island in the Great Salt Lake. The island is home to pronghorn antelope, bobcats, bighorn sheep, American bison, and a wide variety of waterfowl. Wildlife viewing and recreational opportunities abound here. Enjoy a picnic, relax on the white sand, hike one of the trails, or bicycle out to the causeway.
- Travel to the world-class resort town of Park City. Enjoy the shops and restaurants on historic Main Street, take a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain, or explore the Park City Olympic Park, home to the 2002 Winter Olympics.
