On Your Own Suggestions
- Visit the Sheridan Inn for a nice dinner or a drink in a rocking chair on the big front port. The Sheridan Inn opened in May of 1893 by Buffalo Bill Cody. Cody hired his Wild West Show performers from the front porch. In 1964, the Inn was declared a National Historic Landmark.
- Enjoy the rustic atmosphere and nostalgic neon sign at the Mint Bar, serving cowboys and locals whiskey and beer since the early 1900s.
- Drive the Big Horn Scenic Byway (US Hwy 14), which connects Sheridan and surrounding communities. You’ll delight in the spectacular valley views—on a clear day, you can see forever. Interesting stops include Shell Falls, Burgess Junction Visitor Center, and Sand Turn.
